This is The Feminist Scientist.
Feminist Science Scholarship is a real field! It developed in the 1960s and 1970s to combat bias in scientific research, examine why there were few women in STEM, and examine the history behind this. Discovering this field during my undergraduate days blew my mind, certainly helped me to persist in the field, and ever since I have been reading scientific papers and books on the topic.
However, few female scientists actually engage with Feminist Science scholarship and I mean to break it down and explain why you should care and how it relates to your own life.
